In another post, I discussed different types of Relaxation Breathing. My question to you is do you also do Power Breathing? I am often asked what is Power Breathing and why would you do it?

Power Breathing is an essential part of Breathing Training because it strengthens and tones all your breathing muscles. The result is that you can produce a really powerful breath when you need it, for example when lifting a heavy weight or when hitting a ball when playing cricket or tennis.

The key to producing a good quality Power Breath is that it’s not a forced breath, but rather comes from a place of relaxed breathing, however the intensity is increased to varying degrees depending on the demand.
